Thomas is the driving force behind Bilavadu. As an internationally qualified coach, rider, equitation judge and course designer, he brings experience, knowledge and a strong commitment to producing confident horses and riders.

For Thomas, it’s about building a community, creating opportunities and continually striving to provide the best possible environment for horses, riders and staff.

Leigh-Ann is a passionate coach and rider who loves helping young riders develop their confidence, skills and connection with their horses. She brings a patient, encouraging approach to her coaching and takes great pride in watching her riders progress and achieve their goals.

 Leigh-Ann is passionate about creating a positive environment where riders can learn, grow and, most importantly, enjoy their horses.

Riding School Coach

Angela is a passionate coach and rider who brings enthusiasm, patience and experience to her lessons at Bilavadu. She enjoys helping riders build their confidence, improve their skills and develop a stronger partnership with their horses.

With a genuine love for teaching and seeing riders progress, Angela is committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment where every rider has the opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy their time in the saddle.

Assitant Manager 

As Assistant Stable Manager and General Assistant at Bilavadu, Charmaine plays an essential role in the daily running of the yard. She is passionate about ensuring every horse receives the highest standard of care, taking pride in their wellbeing by making sure they are safe, well-fed, comfortable, and receive their medication on time.

 Group 1‘s Groom 

Melvin is a valued member of the Bilavadu team who has a passion for working with horses through schooling and training. He enjoys helping horses develop their confidence, manners and way of going, and finds it incredibly rewarding to build trust and understanding with each horse he works with.

A few fun facts about Melvin:

Group 2‘s Groom 

Isaac is an important part of the Bilavadu team and takes great pride in the daily care and exercise of our horses. One of his favourite parts of the job is lunging horses, where he enjoys helping them stay fit, balanced and ready for work.

Group 3‘s Groom 

Christopher is a valued member of the Bilavadu team who enjoys working closely with our horses every day. His favourite part of the job is training horses, and he takes pride in helping them develop confidence, fitness and good manners through consistent, patient handling.

Group 4‘s Groom 

Vincent is a valued member of the Bilavadu team who has a genuine passion for grooming horses and ensuring they always look and feel their best. He takes pride in the day-to-day care of our horses, knowing that attention to the little details makes a big difference.

Group 5‘s Groom 

Collen is one of the friendly faces you'll often see around Bilavadu. He enjoys communicating with clients and meeting new people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring both our clients and their horses feel at home.

Group 6’s Groom 

Thato is a valued member of the Bilavadu team who enjoys grooming horses and ensuring they are cared for to the highest standard each day. He takes pride in making sure every horse is comfortable, well-presented and receives the attention they deserve.

Group 7‘s Groom 

As Head Groom at Bilavadu, Amos plays a vital role in leading our grooming team and ensuring every horse receives the highest standard of care. He takes great pride in caring for our horses while mentoring the rest of the team.
